Monthly Open days, coffee mornings and Craft stalls
On the last Saturday of each month from 10am to 3pm, we will open the Safari Tent Venue, Memorial Garden and Md-England Barrow. Refreshments will be available and all proceeds will go to the chosen charity of the day. Also in the Safari Tent on the open days, local craftsmen& women will be showing their crafts .
Our first Saturday was well attended, and over £88 was raised for WAY- Widowed and Young.
The next Charity open day and Craft fair is Saturday the 27th of April 10am-3pm

Charity Coffee Mornings :
Thursday September 7th, 10-11am , proceeds will go to Fenny Compton Church fund
Friday September 29th, 10-11am we will be holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning, all proceeds will be going to Macmillan Cancer Support, a very worthwhile cause.
All to be held on the first Thursday of the month at The Safari Tent Venue, Mid-England Barrow,

Thursday April 6th, 10-11am, in aid of Cats Protection
Warwickshire Fire & Rescue will also be on hand to talk about “the importance of working smoke detectors, correctly placed, and the consideration of 'night time routines' and escape plans. They would also like to promote their 'Safe and Well' service, which is basically a visit from them to check and discuss the afore mentioned and other useful matters around safety in the home.” https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/fireandrescue

Flower making course

Course details -
Arrive 9.30, drinks and introductions.
Start making flowers: 9.45-10.
Ploughman's lunch followed by home-made cake.
Flower making until finished, approx 3.30-4pm.
£35 per person. Limited spaces left.

Covid Memorial Day of Reflection
23rd March, 10 am-2.30 pm
As one of the few Covid memorials in the country, we will be inviting anyone who wishes to remember a life lost, to come along, light a candle, or take some time for quiet reflection…..
The gate will be open between 10am and 2.30 pm, or at other times by arrangement (please feel free to contact us).
By request, we will also open the gates from 5-6 pm.
The National Day of Reflection, marked at the memorial built at Mid-England Barrow near Farnborough, was a very beneficial time for all of those who attended. Visitors enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful surroundings, spent time reflecting and speaking about the lives lost, many lighting candles.
